Welcome to Projects of Hope, a grassroots effort, begun in 2005, to create positive change with individuals, families, and communities affected by poverty.

Projects of Hope is a coming together of many people who care deeply about the world through providing support to international community initiatives (particularly in rural Kenya) that enhance healthy living and provide access to education.

Kenyan Government Announces Subsidizing of Secondary School Education

The Kenyan government released funds in February to subsidize secondary school tuition and to address the needs of their country for education. In reality, school is not yet “free” and there are additional costs involved, similar to Primary School education. However, it is a strong step in the right direction! Read more news here.

Hope is alive in Kenya! 30 children are now attending school thanks to Projects of Hope and the generosity of friends.
