A new home!

Seventia is a widow who has 7 children - 3 sons and 4 daughters. The older children have only been able to reach elementary school and have no employment in this impoverished area of Kenya. Lately, the family has a reason to smile as their new home is built with the support of the local community and Projects of Hope. Their previous home was dilapidated and the rain was coming through the roof with miserable conditions. The new home will have a tin roof instead of a thatch roof so they no longer have to sleep on the wet dirt floor.

Here are the exciting photos of the home being built.

I invite you to read the July Update for more information about this life changing project. As students start back to school in the US, the children in Kenya are completing their final term, with vacation around the corner.
