Projects of Hope continues to make a difference in Kenya. The women of Yote Yowekezana recently found out about an eighth grade boy who is living all alone with no proper guardian. His parents both died and he was left to fend for himself. The women of Yote Yowekezana were distressed to find out about Joel's predicament and henceforth decided that he should be included in receiving support from themselves and from Projects of Hope.
It is with great pride and hope for the future that I share this story with you about how Yote Yawezekana is creating a difference in their community. This is just one of the many beautiful stories of how your generosity creates new life amidst poverty. Please take a moment to read about Joel, a courageous boy living in rural Kenya.
We are also extremely proud of Sebastian, one of our eighth graders, who has ranked 5th for the whole district in two subjects with his hard work and high exam scores! Way to go Sebastian!
