The women of Yote Yawezekana are proud to show off their new uniforms. In Kenya, it's common for community groups to have something that signifies they belong to a group, such as a uniform. They hand-tailored the traditional beautiful African dresses from cloth provided by Projects of Hope. As people would say in Kenya, "They look very smart!"

It shows great hope and encouragement that the women are proud to identify with the group, when just a year ago many members wanted to hide their HIV status. Their efforts are changing some of the stigma traditionally present for people with HIV/AIDS.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers for the people of Kenya. Also special thanks to all the participants in our annual Valentine's Day fair trade chocolate sale who sold over 400 bars of fair trade chocolate to send a child to school in Kenya.
