In 2010, our 5th anniversary year, your kindness and generosity enabled Projects of Hope to continue serving children, women, and families affected by poverty and HIV including:

-ongoing healthcare for over 50 women and children

-daily living assistance to orphans with no other support

-therapeutic services for 2 children with physical disabilities, who continue to excel

-the home-building project-with just $900, Projects of Hope student Alex, his 5 siblings, and his single mom attained the dream of a safe, secure home

-scholarships for primary, secondary, and merit-based post-secondary students, whose families otherwise could not afford schooling (on incomes of $1 or less/day)

-microfinance program-women are repaying their small loans and becoming entrepreneurs; sustaining their families through tailoring and cultivating corn

-lunch provided to Projects of Hope students 5 days a week

-uniforms and school supplies are provided to students

-annual field trip expands youth horizons (who may not have otherwise left village)

-tutoring and counseling given for extra support during school breaks

Won’t you provide your support and allow these projects to go on in 2011?

Pictured above is Belinda, one of our students who has a disability, Projects of Hope has provided her with the medical attention, education and therapies she needs.  She is thriving!  We especially need friends to support our scholarship program for students to attend school and receive healthcare and nutrition.
