All of the students started their brand new school year in January and are doing well.
The picture below shows three proud high school students registering for the new semester with their pink and blue uniforms at Shikokho Secondary School.
The Shikokho Primary School students supported by Projects of Hope are receiving daily lunchtime meals, usually of beans and maize, through a collaborative effort with Shitoli Solid Rock Group, a group that supports orphans in the community. The Primary School does not currently provide lunchtime meals to the students. This is a great need for the children and we are very thankful to our supporters for helping to provide these nutritious meals, which may be their only meal of the day. The students at the Secondary (High) School do receive lunch at the school on a daily basis.

The faith formation students of Blessed Sacrament Church in Rochester, NY have spent the Lenten season learning about life in Kenya and they even learned how to say the
"Our Father" prayer in Swahili. They have generously collected many school supplies for Shanna to bring to Kenya for the youth on her trip in June. Projects of Hope is thankful to these caring children and their families.
